Costco is Selling a Durable Version of This Cult-Favorite Pan—and It Might End Up Replacing All Your Cookware

12 October 20263 Mins Read

Although yours truly is of the persuasion that you can never have too many pots and pans, most people would prefer to have one or two pieces of cookware that can do pretty much anything. Even someone like me, who could practically run a restaurant out of their kitchen, ends up relying on my trusty HexClad Frying Pan or my Field Company No. 8 Cast Iron Skillet for most things. That is to say, one pan truly can do it all. The problem is finding the right one.

For some of us that means reaching for a durable cast iron skillet that can go from stovetop to oven with ease, while others prefer the convenience of something nonstick. But what if you could get the best of both worlds? What if instead of fighting with your stainless steel pan to cook perfect sunny-side-up eggs, they could just slip out onto your toast without any additional coaxing? Well, thanks to Costco, you might just be in luck.

The beloved warehouse-style bulk grocer recently added the viral Always Pan Pro by Our Place to stores, but this time in a titanium finish that promises high-heat durability with all the convenience of nonstick. That’s right, friends: now you can make everything from an expert-level reverse-seared steak to a beautifully golden grilled cheese without worrying about damaging your endlessly aesthetic cookware.

Our Place 4-piece Titanium Always Pan Pro with Stainless Steamer and Utensil, $149.99 at Costco

Costco

This ultra-sturdy 10.5-inch pan features a sleek stainless steel body with an aluminum core that disperses heat quickly and evenly. It also includes a modular steam-release lid in the same chrome-like finish, plus a stainless steel and silicone spatula that conveniently nests in the handle, and a 10-inch stainless steel steamer basket. The real magic of the pan, though, is its patented NoCo nonstick technology, which creates a slick nonstick surface without the need for any additional coatings.

The Last Pan You’ll Ever Buy

Instead, the pan features a micro-textured titanium surface that mimics the lotus effect, allowing food to get a gorgeously golden sear without sticking. This construction also allows the pan to withstand temperatures up to 1,000°F, so you can use it pretty much anywhere. And aside from being metal utensil-safe, it’s also dishwasher-safe for quick and easy cleanup. It also comes with a limited lifetime warranty, although you’ll likely never need it. Put plainly, this might be the last piece of cookware you ever need to buy.

With all those features, the $149.99 price looks like a steal, especially since it typically goes for $179 on the Our Place website and doesn’t include the stainless steel steamer basket. It looks like we actually can have it all.
