Ella Langley just picked up another No. 1, and this one puts Dandelion in very exclusive company.
“Loving Life Again” rose one spot to the top of Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, drawing 32.4 million audience impressions. It’s her sixth No. 1 on the chart and the fourth from Dandelion, joining “Choosin’ Texas,” “Be Her” and her Morgan Wallen duet, “I Can’t Love You Anymore.”
That makes Dandelion just the third album by a woman, or an act with a woman vocalist, to send four songs to the top. The other two belong to Shania Twain and Carrie Underwood. Twain did it first with The Woman in Me in 1995–96. Underwood matched her with Carnival Ride, whose first four singles all reached No. 1.
Langley now sits ahead of a long list of albums that stopped at three. That list includes Underwood’s Some Hearts and Play On, Twain’s Come On Over, and records by Lady A, Sugarland, The Chicks, Jo Dee Messina, Deana Carter, Kelsea Ballerini and Wynonna.
She’s moving at record speed, too. Langley reached six No. 1s in 99 weeks, faster than any woman or woman-fronted act in the chart’s 36-year history. Among all acts, only Jelly Roll (96 weeks) and Alan Jackson (94) got there faster.
Dandelion has also spent 21 weeks at No. 1 on Top Country Albums since its April debut. That’s the most for any woman since the chart moved to its current multimetric method nearly a decade ago.
The song behind this latest milestone came out of a hard stretch. In 2025, with her career taking off, Langley started struggling with her mental health and ended up canceling two weeks of shows. “My imposter syndrome kicked in. My life was moving faster than ever,” she said in a news release.
She went home to Alabama, closed on her first house, spent time with family and grew closer to her faith. By the end of those two weeks, she felt like herself again.
