Drake is releasing a massive back-to-school line for six universities and U of T made the cut, Canada Reviews

27 August 20262 Mins Read

There was a time when showing up to a 9 a.m. lecture meant grabbing whatever cheap, screen-printed hoodie you could find in the campus bookstore clearance bin. But Drake’s lifestyle brand, October’s Very Own, has spent the past few years making back-to-school clothes that wouldn’t look out of place anywhere beyond campus.

On Friday, August 28, OVO officially drops its 2026 Campus Collection – Part 01.
This isn’t brand new territory for the brand, but the scale certainly is. OVO first tested these waters back in August 2021 with a limited University of Toronto run that sold out almost immediately. That drop focused heavily on local pride, pairing heavy Canadian fleece with classic varsity crests.

For 2026, the brand is expanding its reach well outside the Toronto city limits. The new line brings six major Canadian institutions into the fold at once: U of T, Waterloo, Western, York, McMaster, and Dalhousie.

Visually, OVO is stepping away from bright, flashy colours this year. The 2026 lineup relies on a strict monochromatic palette. According to the brand, the design cues come straight from classic Canadian campus architecture — think stone facades, gothic arches and heavy historic typography applied to everyday streetwear staples.

If you’re looking to pick up a piece, the collection drops online at octobersveryown.com and at all GTA OVO store locations this Friday morning. If previous drops are any indicator, expect long queues outside the Yorkdale and Eaton Centre locations before doors open.
