Erin Murphy is taking fans on a trip down memory lane with her latest vacation video. The Bewitched star showed off her long braids in the new footage and her familiar look has fans remembering the beloved character she played on the classic sitcom more than 50 years ago.
In November 2026, Murphy, 62, shared photos and videos to Facebook and Instagram while on a trip to Jamaica. In one clip, the actress wore a blue life vest and her hair in braids as she went waterfall jumping. Another photo showed her in braids while posing next to her twin sister Diane Murphy in Ocho Rios Jamaica.
“Exploring beautiful places is even better with my sister by my side. 🩵🌴 So happy to have this time together—laughing, relaxing, and making new memories!” Murphy captioned the photo.

Murphy’s vacation look also brought back memories of Bewitched. While the actress was a baby in 1966 when she started as Tabitha, the baby daughter of mortal Darrin and witch Samantha Stephens (Dick York, Elizabeth Montgomery) on the show, by the time the series ended she was an eight-year-old in elementary school. Murphy wore braids in several episodes of the ABC sitcom, most notably in the 1972 episode “Tabitha’s First Day at School.” In that episode, Tabitha turns a bully classmate into a frog.

Murphy recently referenced the episode while talking about her Bewitched character on NPR’s Front Row Network as she noted that even as a child witch, Tabitha was “almost like little Samantha trying to right wrongs.”
“Like when I turned a bully into a bullfrog, he was a bully. I was doing the right thing and I tried not to be a bully,” she shared.
The Murphy twins first shared the role of Tabitha due to California’s child labor laws, but it soon became apparent that they were fraternal twins, not identical.
Speaking with the Bewitched and Elizabeth Montgomery Site, Murphy recalled, “They used us interchangeably in the first couple of episodes, but then they started seeing that there weren’t just subtle differences, but that we really looked different. After this, they just started using Diane differently, again, in scenes that called for more activity, etc. Her hair was very different than mine – it was more straight and fine, whereas mine sort of flipped up.”
