Finally, another chance to get one of the best mounts in Square Enix’s MMO
It’s official, Noctis is returning to Eorzea. Square Enix has officially announced that the Nocturne for Heroes event will once again be available in Final Fantasy 14 for a limited time. Players last experienced the Final Fantasy 15 crossover in 2024.
Warriors of Light can pick up the quest that begins the crossover starting on Sept. 24, 2026 at 1:00 a.m. PDT. You’ll have just a few weeks to complete it and collect all of the collaboration’s rewards, as the event concludes on Oct. 13, 2026 at 7:59 a.m. PDT. The Nocturne for Heroes event first ran in 2021 and returned in 2024, so don’t expect that you’ll be able to play it again anytime soon after this year’s revival concludes. The quest line for the event sees the Warrior of Light aiding Noctis, the protagonist of Final Fantasy 15.
Players can start the event by picking up the quest “The Man in Black” from Kipih Jakkya in Ul’dah near the Steps of Nald. If you’ve previously completed the quests, you can speak to the NPC to use the seasonal event replay feature. You won’t be able to start the event unless you have a character that is level 50, and you’ve completed the main scenario quest, “The Ultimate Weapon.”

It’ll cost 200,000 MGP from the Ironworks Vendor. But that won’t be the only reward to grab. Here’s a full list of items and how to get them.
