Formula 1 Grand Prix Drives Monaco Hotel Performance to New Highs

Monaco’s hotel sector set new performance records in June, with average daily rate (ADR) and revenue per available room (RevPAR) reaching their highest levels for any month on record, according to preliminary data from CoStar. The Formula 1 Grand Prix was a key factor in the surge.

In June 2026, Monaco hotels reported an occupancy rate of 81.4%, up 9.6% year over year. ADR rose 85.6% to EUR 1,267.48, and RevPAR increased 103.4% to EUR 1,031.52. This was the first month on record that Monaco’s RevPAR surpassed EUR 1,000, and only the second time ADR exceeded EUR 1,000, following May of the previous year.

June also saw the highest occupancy for the month since 2013. On Saturday, 6 June, occupancy peaked at 98.9%. That night, ADR reached EUR 3,944.81, and RevPAR hit EUR 3,903.20. The following night, ADR climbed to a record EUR 4,082.30 and RevPAR to EUR 3,933.25, marking the first time Monaco’s ADR surpassed EUR 4,000.

All performance peaks set during June established new all-time daily highs for Monaco hotels. In comparison, last year’s Grand Prix, held from 23-25 May, saw occupancy reach 97.3% on Saturday, 24 May, with ADR and RevPAR peaking at EUR 3,545.65 and EUR 3,356.01 on Sunday, 25 May.
