Here’s everything to know ahead of Alberta’s Big Valley Jamboree

29 July 20263 Mins Read

This weekend is it, folks. Big Valley Jamboree will be taking over Camrose, and we’re here to let you know all the details before you arrive for the big festival.

From Thursday to Sunday, this massive country-music camping festival will take over Alberta. From international stars to small-town favourites, you’re going to get the full range of the music spectrum. We’re here to make sure your entire weekend goes smoothly, making your festival experience the best possible.

From what you need to bring to what you can’t bring, ticket information, and all the details that can help make the weekend even easier, we’ve got you covered.

Everything you need to know for Big Valley Jamboree

The festival grounds are open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Thursday to Saturday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Those who are camping will be able to arrive starting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday to get your home set up for the weekend.

For those just visiting, Weekend Day Parking and Weekend Overnight Parking are both available for purchase online. The festival recommends purchasing before arriving at the festival gates.

If you’re not interested in parking, shuttles are available within Camrose with pickup and drop-off locations at the Encana Arena and Duggan Mall. These buses will run on a 15-minute loop from 1 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Thursday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 a.m. Friday through Sunday.

Before you get into the grounds, you’re going to want to know what you can and can’t bring in. We’d suggest checking out the full list on the festival’s website if you have any worries or concerns about what you’re packing. Most importantly, though, you will be allowed to bring in one clear plastic bottle of water, factory sealed or empty. This does not extend to metal bottles or coloured bottles.

Once you’re in, there will be food and drink available for purchase on-site. For the full list of vendors, we’d suggest checking out the Big Valley Jamboree website. For those wanting to purchase or consume any alcohol, all fans are required to wear an Age Verification Wristband. You’ll be able to visit one of their Alcohol ID tents and show your ID to receive the wristband, which will be good for the entire event.

Can I still get tickets for Big Valley Jamboree?

There are, in fact, tickets still available for purchase. If you want a shot at grabbing a weekend pass or just a day ticket, check out the tickets section on the festival’s website. Here, you’ll be able to visit the official sale as well as resale.

Day passes begin at $150, but with the amount of fun you’ll be in for, it’s absolutely worth it.

Enjoy your weekend at the Jamboree, folks. This country-music festival is already ready for you.

When: Thursday, July 30, to Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026
Time: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday to Saturday; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday
Where: Camrose Regional Exhibition — 4250 Exhibition Dr., Camrose, Alta.
