Here’s where to get TIFF-ready in Toronto

10 September 20263 Mins Read

TIFF is here, which means Toronto is about to be filled with red carpets, premieres, parties, and plenty of opportunities to dress up.

Whether you have tickets to a screening, are heading to TIFF Festival Street, have an invite to an event, or simply want to look your best while taking in all the festival action, now is the time to get your TIFF prep in order (if you haven’t already).

From facials to spa experiences to hair appointments, Toronto has plenty of spots that can help you get red-carpet ready.

Here are a few places to check out as TIFF takes over the city.

Where to get a pre-TIFF glow in Toronto

It’s time to shine, and a little pre-TIFF self-care moment wouldn’t hurt anybody. Thankfully, Toronto has no shortage of spots to get hydrating facials, blowouts, manicures, and any other last-minute beauty treatments.

Miraj Hammam Spa Toronto is offering what they call a Close-Up Ready TIFF Package. It pairs a 60-minute Custom Glow Facial with a 45-minute Miraj Manicure. This facial features Biologique Recherche skincare and is tailored with one of three targeted boosters for brightness, hydration, or plumping and purification, according to the spa.

“The experience continues with nail and cuticle grooming, exfoliation and massage, finished with a polish colour of choice.”

Luxury med spa 30 Hazelton has also launched a new facial experience ahead of TIFF. Its Korean Glass Facial is inspired by the Korean approach to achieving luminous, deeply hydrated, glass-like skin. The med spa also offers more advanced, non-surgical skin-tightening treatments.

Formula Fig, Toula, and Pure + Simple are also great options to get a pre-TIFF glow.

Now for hair, we could go on and on. Palm Sunday has a mini menu where you can get a Happy Hour Blowout for $60. Pair that with their hair tinsel special, and it’s the ultimate glow up.

Though no longer on Queen Street, Civello still has two locations in Toronto, one in Uptown and the other in Rosedale. If you can get a reservation in before your events, this is a fabulous option.

If you’re looking for a quick blow-dry, the tried-and-true Blo Dry Bar has several locations across the city and will leave you looking like a star.

Although TIFF is now in full swing, there’s still time for a little glow-up before your next screening.

Book that appointment, get glam, and head out to enjoy one of Toronto’s biggest events of the year.
