Hilton Expands in Florida Keys with 175-Room Waterfront Resort

Hilton will expand its presence in the Florida Keys with the conversion of Ocean’s Edge Resort & Marina on Stock Island to Hilton Key West Resort & Marina. The waterfront property, located at 5950 Peninsular Avenue at the eastern edge of Key West, is owned by Sunstone Hotel Investors and will be managed by Hilton.

The resort will offer 175 guest rooms, including 86 suites, each with a private, furnished balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, marina, or tropical surroundings. Amenities will include six saltwater pools, a full-service marina, and a range of outdoor recreational activities, including paddleboarding, kayaking, bicycling, yoga classes, poolside movies, and lawn games.

Dining options will feature Yellowfin Bar & Kitchen, serving island-inspired cuisine, and Ocean’s Edge Café, a grab-and-go venue offering Cuban-inspired coffee, smoothies, and breakfast selections. Additional food and beverage service will be available poolside and through in-room dining.

The property will provide a fitness center and event space, including a 570-square-foot boardroom and a 1,140-square-foot outdoor patio. A complimentary shuttle will connect guests to downtown Key West, which is approximately six miles away. The resort is about 10 minutes from Key West International Airport.

The property will join the Hilton Hotels & Resorts portfolio and participate in the Hilton Honors loyalty program. Enhancements are planned during the transition, with amenities including pet-friendly rooms, free WiFi, and access to on-site dining and recreational facilities. The marina will provide access to boating and excursions through the Florida Keys and toward the Everglades.

Reservations are now being accepted for stays beginning July 1, 2026.
