Hive House, a 45-suite hotel in Cary, North Carolina, is open as the city’s first Hyatt-branded hotel and has joined the Unscripted by Hyatt brand portfolio.
CMC Hotels owns Hive House, which developed the property independently. The hotel’s suites range from 312 to 412 square feet and include separate living spaces and full kitchens.
The property features interiors, artwork and social spaces. Hive House also has the Hive House Café, which offers bakery items and products from North Carolina producers, including Trophy Brewing of Raleigh, Griff’s Toffee of Chapel Hill and Poppy Popcorn of Asheville.
Hotel amenities include free high-speed Wi-Fi in guest suites and public spaces; a fitness center with Peloton equipment, cardio machines with smart TVs, free weights, resistance bands and yoga mats; a lobby and social spaces; a 24/7 market; and self-service laundry available 24 hours.
Hive House permits dogs under a pet policy with a 35-pound weight limit per pet and a $75 fee per stay.
The hotel joins Hyatt’s Essentials Portfolio, which includes Caption by Hyatt, Unscripted by Hyatt, Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Hyatt Studios, Hyatt Select and UrCove.
As a participating World of Hyatt property, Hive House allows guests to earn and redeem points on eligible stays. Eligible stays at new participating brands count toward the Brand Explorer Award, which provides a free night after members experience five Hyatt brands.
