Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Green Rock LLC announced the agreement July 27, 2026, during a groundbreaking ceremony in Dilijan attended by representatives of the Government of Armenia, Hyatt and Green Rock.
Hyatt Regency Dilijan is designed to include 205 guestrooms and suites, dining venues, family entertainment facilities and a conference center. The property is planned approximately one-and-a-half hours by road from Yerevan and three-and-a-half hours from Tbilisi. Plans also include a rooftop helipad.
The hotel will be part of a 462,000-square-foot (43,000-square-meter) complex. The complex is planned to include restaurants and bars, retail space, family entertainment facilities with two movie theaters and a 32,000-square-foot (3,000-square-meter) wellness center with a full-service spa, fitness center and outdoor pool.
The conference center is anticipated to accommodate more than 550 guests and support conferences, corporate meetings, weddings and social events.
Green Rock’s plans for the broader Dilijan development include hospitality education initiatives, community spaces, restaurants, a music hall and an art park. The development is expected to create more than 400 employment opportunities across hospitality, food and beverage, wellness, events, engineering and hotel operations.
Additional details on the hotel’s construction timeline and opening date will be announced as the project progresses.
