Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) has named James Taylor as the Tuesday Headliner speaker for HITEC 2026. The event will be held June 15–18 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. Taylor’s appearance is sponsored by Toast.
Taylor is an award-winning keynote speaker, entrepreneur, and author with more than two decades of experience advising organizations and business leaders worldwide. His HITEC presentation will explore the intersection of human creativity and emerging technologies, focusing on practical strategies for innovation and organizational agility. The session will include real-world case studies and research relevant to industries such as hospitality and travel. Taylor will address approaches to fostering innovative cultures, adapting to technological change, and leveraging AI.
The conference will also feature additional headlining sessions throughout the week. The Headliner stage opens Monday, June 15, with a panel of hotel industry leaders discussing key trends and challenges. On Wednesday, June 17, the Entrepreneur 20X (E20X) hospitality technology start-up pitch competition will take place, featuring entrepreneurs presenting business ideas to attendees and a panel of judges.
HITEC North America is the world’s largest and longest-running hospitality technology exposition and conference. The 2026 event is expected to attract over 5,900 attendees and more than 370 exhibiting companies.
