Justice Family Group and Kennedy Lewis Investment Management completed a joint venture for The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.

The transaction is intended to provide capital and expertise for long-term investment in the resort, its facilities and guest experience. The Greenbrier will remain open and fully operational during the transition.

Kennedy Lewis appointed Lloyd Nathan chairman of The Greenbrier’s board of directors in connection with the transaction. Nathan has experience in hospitality, gaming, real estate, investment and large-scale development, including nearly a decade with MGM Resorts International.

The West Virginia Lottery Commission authorized The Greenbrier to continue casino operations while it completes its review of the transaction. The commission is considering final approval of the new ownership structure.

Casino operations will continue without interruption during the review process. Existing reservations, meetings, conferences, weddings and other scheduled events will continue as planned.

The Greenbrier offers accommodations, dining, golf, spa and wellness services, gaming, outdoor recreation, shopping, and meeting and event facilities. The property also hosts business organizations, conferences and sporting events.

Justice Family Group purchased The Greenbrier in 2009. The group has interests in hospitality, agriculture and other industries.

Kennedy Lewis Investment Management provides capital solutions and works with businesses during periods of transition and transformation.
