IHG Hotels & Resorts officially opened Kimpton Nine Trees Shanghai on June 30, 2026. Located in Fengxian, a district in South Shanghai, the hotel is the second Kimpton property in the city. The hotel features 229 guestrooms and suites, including courtyard pool rooms, family-oriented accommodations, and pet-friendly amenities.
The property offers three on-site food and beverage venues: SOLA & LUNA, SONG, and the cocktail bar ECHO. SOLA & LUNA provides all-day menus and a private dining space. SONG, the Chinese restaurant, features 11 private rooms and serves fusion Jiangsu-Zhejiang cuisine. ECHO is located in a separate building within the resort.
Kimpton Nine Trees Shanghai includes meeting and event space exceeding 2,150 square meters. The Bloom Ballroom spans approximately 1,200 square meters on the ground floor, with a sunlit outdoor lawn adjacent to it. Four multi-function rooms on the second floor are designed for board meetings, private dinners, and other event formats.
The EverNine Spa & Wellness facility covers 913 square meters and includes eight private treatment rooms, an indoor heated swimming pool, a shallow leisure pool, a 24-hour fitness center, multifunctional spaces, and an outdoor activity lawn. The outdoor plunge pool is integrated into the hotel’s landscaped area. The Nest Kids Club offers climbing zones, creative studios, and activity spaces. Zombilee Pet Park provides an open-air retreat for pets, with fencing, wash areas, and installations.
Guests receive daily complimentary coffee and premium teas through Kimpton Kickstart, as well as a nightly Kimpton Social Hour with complimentary beer, wine, and chef-prepared bites in the lobby. Select terrace guestrooms are pet-friendly.
