Brewers World Series: Website to find watch parties
The Brewers make their grand return to the World Series on Oct. 23. Bars and restaurants across the country are ready to open their doors to floods of fans. If you’re looking for a spot close to home, ‘Crewtober’ founder Taylor Pipes is sharing a new tool for Brewers fans to find their own crew.
Who is playing:
Manager Pat Murphy will set the starting lineup on a game-by-game basis, but the team already announced Jacob Misiorowski will start Game 1. The 26-man roster was largely unchanged from the first two rounds of the postseason – with one All-Star exception: Brandon Woodruff was added to the group, while Chad Patrick was left off.
Brewers Team Store World Series merchandise
What you can do:
The Brewers Team Stores at American Family Field saw “unprecedented demand” for World Series merchandise. The stores had to close Thursday and Friday morning to restock, the team said, before ballpark gates open for Game 1.
The Brewers Team Store has two locations inside American Family Field, one at the left-field gate and one at home plate. They’re open to ticketed fans when gates open on game days until 30 minutes after the last out. On non-game days, the Brewers Team Stores are open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The Brewers Team Store will take orders over the phone, ship orders to your house and accommodate in-store pickup. Call 414-902-4750 or email TeamStore@Brewers.com.
World Series: Brewers merchandise flying off the shelves
The Brewers say the team store staff is restocking inventory and merch and will only reopen to ticketed fans when the ballpark gates open for Game 1 on Friday. But tonight, there was a rush of shoppers getting last minute gear.
What we know:
After a foggy morning, sunshine takes over and temperatures climb into the upper 60s and lower 70s Friday. The weekend looks equally pleasant, with highs around 70 degrees on Saturday.
