Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel has appointed Mary Ann Gamboa as commercial director.
Gamboa’s appointment was announced Sept. 21, marking her sixth anniversary year with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. She joins Beverly Wilshire after working at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto.
Gamboa has more than 30 years of experience with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, IHG Hotels and Resorts, Trump Hotels, Marriott International, Radisson Hotels and InterContinental. Her career began in Manila, Philippines, before she immigrated to Canada in 1998.
After arriving in Toronto, Gamboa worked on partnerships involving the Toronto International Film Festival, Golden Globes, Vanity Fair, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research and Destination Toronto.
At Beverly Wilshire, Gamboa is a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Her work has included team development, community relations and the property’s strategic priorities.
Gamboa was recently appointed to the board of directors of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce. She is also involved in preparations for events and celebrations planned for Los Angeles, including Beverly Wilshire’s centennial year in 2028.
Gamboa was recognized as one of the 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World by the Filipina Women’s Network.
Outside of work, Gamboa has been exploring Beverly Hills, visiting local landmarks and planning to participate in Beverly Hills organizations and the Filipino community in Los Angeles.
