Melissa Gilbert Appears in First Social Media Video Since Husband Timothy Busfield's Arrest

Melissa Gilbert appeared in the first social media video since her husband Timothy Busfield‘s arrest for alleged child sex abuse.

On Jan. 20, a judge granted Busfield, 68, release on his own recognizance pending trial. The decision came after the West Wing actor turned himself in on Jan. 13 after the Albuquerque Police Department issued a warrant for his arrest for allegedly inappropriately touching twin 11-year-old boys while filming The Cleaning Lady. He was charged with one count of child abuse and two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.

Busfield called the allegations against him “all lies.” He stated, “I did not do anything to those little boys, and I’m gonna fight it,” Busfield said in a video obtained by TMZ. Meanwhile, Gilbert

Fast forward to Friday, Jan. 31, and Gilbert’s lifestyle brand Modern Prairie’s Instagram account posted a clip of the Little House on the Prairie actress, 61, and two coworkers eating ice cream in a kitchen while grooving to music.

On Monday, Feb. 2, Modern Prairie shared a second Instagram video featuring Gilbert since her husband’s arrest.

“So how did our homemade fortune cookies turn out?” the caption began. “Yummmmm…and the best part is that each of them has a customized, special message hidden inside. Melissa’s was ‘never change’ and we have to agree, the cookie knows all.”
