Mötley Crüe is bringing back a song fans haven’t heard live in decades after letting them help choose the setlist for the band’s upcoming Las Vegas residency. Nikki Sixx confirmed that “Take Me to the Top,” a track from the group’s 1981 debut album, Too Fast for Love, will be part of the lineup when the rock legends return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in March 2027.
The song’s return is already a win for longtime fans. Mötley Crüe hadn’t performed “Take Me to the Top” live since 1984 before bringing it back during its 2026 Return of the Carnival of Sins tour. The enthusiastic response helped inspire the band to continue giving fans a say in what they hear.

Mötley Crüe Fans Helped Bring “Take Me to the Top” Back
Originally released on Too Fast for Love in 1981, “Take Me to the Top” is a deep cut from the band’s early days. Its return shows that longtime fans are still eager to hear more than the hits that have become rock-radio staples.
For a band with a catalog full of arena anthems, the fan vote offers a chance to revisit songs that might otherwise remain off the setlist. Sixx has also mentioned other fan favorites and deep cuts, including “On With the Show” and “Starry Eyes,” although neither has been confirmed for the 2027 residency.
Which Songs Could Mötley Crüe Play in Las Vegas?
The complete fan-voted setlist for the 2027 residency has not been announced. However, the band’s 2026 tour setlist offers a preview of what fans have recently heard live. It included:
- “Red Hot”
- “Louder Than Hell”
- “Wild Side”
- “Shout at the Devil”
- “Too Fast for Love”
- “Looks That Kill”
- “Too Young to Fall in Love”
- “Take Me to the Top”
- “Primal Scream”
- “Afraid”
- “Home Sweet Home”
- “Smokin’ in the Boys Room”
- “Live Wire”
- “Girls, Girls, Girls”
- “Dr. Feelgood”
- “Kickstart My Heart”
These songs are from the band’s 2026 tour, not a confirmed lineup for the 2027 residency. Fans will have to wait for the band to reveal which tracks make the final cut.
When Is Mötley Crüe’s Las Vegas Residency?
Mötley Crüe’s Carnival of Sins in Sin City residency will feature eight shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on March 19, 20, 24, 26, 27 and 31, followed by April 2 and 3, 2027.
A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, a Las Vegas organization supporting young people experiencing homelessness.
With “Take Me to the Top” confirmed, fans have at least one deep cut to look forward to. The remaining question is which other long-overlooked songs will make their way back to the stage.
