Netflix’s impressive push into the Chinese drama space is continuing this fall with the addition of Irreplaceable, a brand-new corporate romance and melodrama. As of today, September 28th, the first three episodes are now available to stream globally, with more arriving regularly over the next month or so.
Directed by Chen Ming Zhang and Chen Shi Yi, and written by Zhang Wei, the 20-episode series originated on Youku and is now joining Netflix’s growing library of licensed C-Dramas. 2026 has been an incredibly busy year for Netflix’s Asian television acquisitions, with the platform picking up major titles like Light to the Night, Veil of Shadows, Ashes to Crown, and the period piece Pursuit of Jade.

Despite graduating from an ordinary college, her relentless hard work and quick wit allow her to climb the ranks as a professional consultant.
Enter Ye Xin Zhi, an elite industry partner who was recently framed by his boss. Plotting his revenge, Ye Xin Zhi recruits Xu Chi as his assistant, acting as a mentor to help her elevate her career. As they work together to achieve their respective goals, their relationship experiences both tension and growing romantic warmth. However, when Ye Xin Zhi’s career faces a sudden massive setback just as Xu Chi is offered an opportunity to join the top management, the two must decide what matters most for their futures.
Who is in the cast of Irreplaceable?
The series features a stellar ensemble cast led by two highly recognizable names in the Chinese entertainment industry.
