Throughout the month, you can take part in ghost tours, paranormal investigations, pub crawls, and other eerie experiences around Inglewood,

And with more than 150 years of history behind it, the neighbourhood has no shortage of stories to tell.

What to expect at Haunted Historic Inglewood

What is Haunted Historic Inglewood?

Haunted Historic Inglewood is a month-long Halloween celebration taking place throughout the neighbourhood from Oct. 1 to 31, 2026.

According to the Inglewood BIA, the neighbourhood has more than 150 years of history, with plenty of stories and legends tied to its past.

Rather than a single event, it will be a series of spooky experiences hosted by local businesses and organizers around Inglewood.

This year’s programming includes everything from ghost walks and paranormal investigations to murder mysteries, psychic readings, and Halloween activities for families.

What can I do during Haunted Historic Inglewood?

The Haunted Historic Inglewood website lists plenty of spooky events and activities, including murder mystery nights, pub crawls, and ghost tours. Here are a few that caught our eye:

  • Zombie Makeup Class
    • Learn how to create your own gruesome zombie look before using your new makeup skills at the Haunted Historic Inglewood Zombie Walk.
      • When: Monday, Oct. 5, 2026
      • Time: 6 to 9 p.m.
      • Where: 1030 9th Ave. SE, Calgary, Alta.
      • Cost: $20 per person
  • Friend at First Fright
    • Meet fellow spooky-season lovers at the horror-themed speed-friending mixer at the Potion Room.
      • When: Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026
      • Time: 7 p.m.
      • Where: 1211 9th Ave. SE, Calgary, Alta.
      • Cost: $10 plus fees
  • Paranormal Investigation of the Historic Alexandra School
    • Explore the historic Alexandra Centre after dark with Ghost Hunt Alberta during a four-hour paranormal investigation.
      • When: Friday, Oct. 9, 2026
      • Time: 7 to 11 p.m.
      • Where: 922 9th Ave. SE, Calgary, Alta.
      • Cost: $90 plus fees
  • Haunted Inglewood Pub Walk
    • Grab your friends and explore the neighbourhood after dark as Calgary Ghost Tours takes you to some of Inglewood’s haunted pubs and shares the spooky stories behind them.
  • Reunion with Murder: Murder Mystery
    • Head to Ninja Tiger for a high school reunion that takes a deadly turn. The interactive murder mystery includes dinner, a drink, and a homicide for you to solve.
      • When: Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026
      • Time: 4:30 to 8 p.m.

      • Cost: $70 plus fees

When is Haunted Historic Inglewood?

Programming runs from Oct. 1 to Oct. 31, 2026, so you’ll have a full month to check out the different activities.

Where does Haunted Historic Inglewood take place?

Haunted Historic Inglewood doesn’t have one central event site; instead, events will take place at local businesses along 9th Avenue SE and other locations around the neighbourhood.

Each event is listed on the Haunted Historic Inglewood official website, where you can find the address and ticket prices.

Where should I park?

If you’re driving, you can park on the street throughout the neighbourhood and in several paid parking lots. According to organizers, a free parking lot is located at 700 12th St. SE, where the first two hours are free.

With so much history packed into one neighbourhood, Inglewood has some great stories, and you can see them brought to life this October.
