Preliminary CoStar data show Paris hotels recorded their highest August occupancy since 2015, reaching 75% in August 2026, up 2.7% from a year earlier.
Average daily rate rose 8.7% year over year to EUR342.97, while revenue per available room increased 11.7% to EUR257.19.
Hotel demand was strongest during the Rock en Seine Festival. On Wednesday, Aug. 26, the festival’s opening night, occupancy reached 84.5%, the highest level of the month. Revenue per available room was EUR324.10, also the monthly high, while average daily rate reached EUR383.39.
The highest daily room rate was recorded Friday, Aug. 28, at EUR397.17. Occupancy that night was 79.9%, and revenue per available room was EUR317.32.
Occupancy remained above 70% on all but four nights during August.
