PM Hotel Group has appointed Art Villarreal as Vice President of Accounting, responsible for financial operations across its hotel portfolio.
Villarreal will oversee financial operations across the company’s hotel portfolio, including centralized and property-level accounting functions. His responsibilities will focus on consistency, accountability and transparency in accounting operations, as well as prompt and accurate financial reporting in support of operational and ownership goals.
Villarreal previously held senior finance leadership positions overseeing regional accounting teams and supporting hotel portfolios across North America. His prior work included operating in high-volume accounting environments, developing leadership teams and providing financial information to executive stakeholders.
As vice president of accounting, Villarreal will manage the company’s multi-property accounting environment. His work will focus on month-end close performance, financial controls and aligning accounting operations with broader company goals.
