The fans have spoken, and Popeyes is giving them what they want, bringing back a popular limited-time menu item and adding it to its permanent rotation. The chicken chain has added its beloved chicken wraps back to the menu permanently in two existing flavors, classic and spicy, as well as introducing a new take on the handheld food item.
Blackened ranch sauce is now an option on the wraps, which feature crisp lettuce, shredded cheese, and two barrel-cured pickles alongside a Popeyes hand-breaded and battered, Louisiana-style crunchy chicken tender, all in a buttermilk tortilla. The wraps come in at an affordable $3.99 each, though if you’re looking for a larger meal, you can bump up to a meal deal for $9.99, which includes two wraps and a premium lemonade at participating restaurants.

“We know our guests are looking for convenience without sacrificing great taste and value, which is why we’re thrilled to be giving Popeyes Chicken Wraps a permanent place on the menu year-round,” said Peter Perdue, President of Popeyes U.S. and Canada. “This bold addition expands our line-up with more variety, flexible options and the classic Louisiana flavor only Popeyes can deliver.”
This isn’t the first time Popeyes has brought back a popular menu item to please fans; in February, customers saw the return of the limited-time seafood menu and the cult-favorite fried pickles. The Mardi Gras-themed menu included a flounder fish sandwich in regular or spicy versions, a butterfly shrimp tacklebox, and a surf-and-turf option featuring both shrimp and chicken tenders.

If you prefer sandwiches over wraps, Popeyes also has two new limited-time sandwiches that it’s adding to the menu for the summer. The traditional honey BBQ sandwich pairs Popeyes crispy chicken with a sweet and smoky honey BBQ sauce on toasted brioche buns with barrel-cured pickles for $5.49. If you’d like to add an extra pop of flavor, for $6.99, you can get all of that plus bacon and Havarti cheese.
