Rachael Ray, 58, Opens Up About Her Diet Following Health Concernspost

21 October 20262 Mins Read

Rachael Ray is sharing health advice amid concern for her well-being.

The 58-year-old former Food Network star opened up about Dr. Ian Smith’s latest book, The New Menopause Kitchen, which includes more than 50 recipes provided by Ray. She talked to People while hosting the annual Blue Moon Burger Bash in New York City.

“I have no menopausal signs of any kind,” she said. “My sister’s the same way. She’s 67. She never had them either. I’ve always had an easy time, just in life, when it comes to that kind of stuff.”

“I take my doctor’s advice on hormone replacement or whatever my doctors advise me,” she explained, adding she recommends women eat “as healthfully as possible.”

“You eat lots of color in your diet, which means you’re getting lots of the right vitamins without the need of supplements,” Ray continued, admitting, “I do take supplements also.”

“My husband takes more than I do,” The former The Rachael Ray Show host said about her spouse, John Cusimano. “My husband is a nut for supplements. He goes into the bathroom, he’s in there like 40 minutes. He’s got to take all his little pills and he has more face creams than I do. But it works for him. Whatever makes you happy.”

She shared these tips and tricks during ongoing concerns about Ray’s health.

In September 2024, a clip from her cooking show, Rachael Ray in Tuscany, posted to Instagram, sparked concern among viewers. She appeared to be slurring her speech and leaning on the counter in front of her for support.

Ray told fans that she suffered “a couple of bad falls” while carrying wood for a fire, per the Daily Mail.

She responded to claims that she vanished from the public eye due to health concerns. Ray told Us Weekly in October 2025 due, “I don’t know what they’re talking about. I work my ass off all the time. And I never left. I just switched over to A+E and new partners, that’s all. But I’ve been working constantly.”
