‘The Mentalist’ Headed to Netflix in Select Regions in March 2026

He reads people like an open book, but his own story is about to get a lot more accessible. The hit crime procedural The Mentalist is the latest Warner Bros. Television property to secure a massive international licensing deal with Netflix, with it set to arrive in select international regions this March.

As we’ve been covering, since Netflix announced it would acquire Warner Bros., including its movie and TV divisions, plus HBO and HBO Max, the licensing floodgates have opened, with well over a dozen shows landing in the US and even more internationally. That continues into February with the arrival of The Middle in international regions and Suburgatory and Search Party in the United States.

Netflix is betting big on another “blue sky” era favorite. We have learned that the complete series run of the Simon Baker-led drama is scheduled to arrive in multiple territories next month.

We can confirm that all 7 seasons (151 episodes) of The Mentalist will be available to stream on Netflix in select regions starting Sunday, March 1st, 2026.

Where is The Mentalist Launching?

This is a wide-reaching deal that brings the show back to Netflix in several key markets where it had previously departed. The confirmed regions include:

  • United Kingdom
  • Canada
  • Australia
  • Latin America (including Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico)

There is currently no word on The Mentalist returning to Netflix US in March. The series is currently available to stream stateside on Max and Hulu. Likewise, most European regions, which typically receive WBTV titles alongside those outlined above, are not currently included in our research, but this may change.

The Consultant Will See You Now

Running from 2008 to 2015 on CBS, The Mentalist became a global phenomenon thanks to the charisma of its lead and its overarching mystery.

The series follows Patrick Jane (Simon Baker), a former celebrity psychic who publicly admitted he was a fraud after his wife and daughter were murdered by the elusive serial killer known as “Red John.” Seeking revenge, he joins the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI) as a consultant.

While he lacks formal police training, his background as a mentalist gives him unparalleled skills in observation, hypnosis, and manipulation—skills he uses to close cases while secretly hunting the man who destroyed his life.

Who is in the Cast?

The chemistry of the CBI team is the show’s secret weapon:

  • Simon Baker as Patrick Jane.
  • Robin Tunney as Teresa Lisbon, the senior agent who has the impossible job of managing Jane.
  • Tim Kang as Kimball Cho, the stoic, deadpan agent who became a fan favorite.
  • Owain Yeoman as Wayne Rigsby, the arson specialist.
  • Amanda Righetti as Grace Van Pelt, the tech-savvy rookie.

Will you be joining the hunt for Red John on March 1st? Let us know in the comments below!
