The Henderson Park-owned hotel has joined Marriott’s Autograph Collection and will participate in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program. Members can earn and redeem points and access member rates, promotions and potential room upgrades.

Henderson Park acquired the property in 2022. Salamander Collection founder and CEO Sheila Johnson will remain a minority partner in the property with Henderson Park.

The Potomac Hotel, Autograph Collection is located along Washington, D.C.’s Southwest waterfront, within walking distance of the National Mall and The Wharf. It is 15 minutes from Reagan National Airport and near the Jefferson Memorial, the Washington Monument, the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, the Smithsonian museums, the White House and Capitol Hill.

The property has 38,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. Its facilities include guestrooms and suites, a dual-level spa with wellness and grooming services, a heated indoor pool and a fitness center.

Dōgon, the Afro-Caribbean restaurant led by Chef Kwame Onwuachi, remains at the hotel. Onwuachi was named the James Beard Foundation’s Rising Star Chef of the Year in 2019 and was included in TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in 2025.

Since opening in 2024, Dōgon has been included on Condé Nast Traveler’s Hot List of the World’s Best Restaurants in 2025. The restaurant was ranked among North America’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2026 by 50 Best, included on Food & Wine’s Global Tastemakers list of the top U.S. restaurants in 2026, and recognized among Washingtonian’s Top 10 Restaurants in Washington, D.C.
