Toronto just hosted the first match of the FIFA World Cup 2026 between Bosnia and Herzegovina, but you don’t need tickets to an actual game in the city to get excited about soccer. Across the city, you’ll be able to find dozens of FIFA World Cup fan experiences where you’ll find fans from every part of Toronto. Cheer on Team Canada, or your own home country, packed with loads of fun and the best atmosphere.
Sport Chek Harbourfront FC Floating Pitch
There are watch parties, and then there’s this: the floating pitch at the Harbourfront is a venue like no other in Toronto. Not surprisingly, it’s Canada’s first ever. This free, open to the public 130-foot floating pitch gives anyone the chance to play soccer on the water. Bring your team and book a 60-minute pitch, or join one of the 5 vs. 5 mini tournaments. The experience is open until July 19.
Adidas at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre
Adidas is bringing the FIFA World Cup 2026 vibes to the mall. In Rep Your Fed, the store will showcase an interactive soccer experience for fans. You’ll get the chance to compete for tickets to matches by joining their one-of-a-kind soccer target game. Plus, if you spend more than $100 on FIFA World Cup gear, you’ll be gifted an exclusive Adidas prize. It’s all happening June 19–21.
FIFA Fan Festival
At the mother of all fan festivals, the FIFA Fan Festival in Toronto is a city-run experience at Fort York and The Bentway. Running until July 19, the fest will play 6 matches and offer live entertainment, including performances by French Montana, Alessia Cara and Jessie Reyez. Plus, enjoy over 30 food vendors like Jerk Brothers and I Love Churros.
That’s not all though. If you’re looking for even more fun, there are interactive experiences within the festival such as the Fans Can Dance party, an engaging imitation game that showcases an installation by Montreal-based studio Daily tous les jours. Bloor-Yorkville Soccer Fest
This celebration is a neighbourhood-wide event, bringing global soccer pride to life as Bloor-Yorkville offers up a lineup of great activities and more from June 13–27. Each day from 1–5 p.m., you can find freestyle soccer performances at different venues in the neighbuorhood like the Village of Yorkville Park and Manulife Centre. You’ll also be able to meet the Bloor-Yorkville Mascot and participate in a skills challenge.
Canada Soccer House
Stop by the GE Appliances Canada Soccer House at the Harbourfront. With venues across Toronto, Vancouver and Halifax, this free admission event is where soccer fans can come together to watch matches and soak up the energy until July 7. The venue promises watch parties with extra large screens and live entertainment.
While tickets aren’t required for this event, you can pre-register online if you don’t want to wait to get in. There are limited spaces, so make sure to grab a spot here where you can also enter for a chance to win a Canada Soccer House prize.
FIFA World Cup 2026 Match Broadcasts at Nathan Phillips Square
Nathan Phillips Square will be broadcasting a few select matches until July 19. Some days in the square will include other fun activities and events, like the pop-up Visa double mini pitches and designated drop-ins for pick-up soccer and casual play. You can find the schedule here.
Home of Soccer fan hub
Adidas will be bringing the Home of Soccer to STACKT Market until July 19. At this retail pop-up, expect to find daily watch parties and a chance to try out the brand’s new Predator of F50 cleats. You’ll also be able to shop their FIFA World Cup gear.
Rosedale Soccer Fest
On June 20, the Soccer Fest at Ramsden Park will transform into a free community event that brings family and soccer together. There will be a live watch party of the Germany vs. Ivory Coast match on the big screen at 3 p.m., plus fun features such as a beverage garden and other food and drinks. Admission is free, but fans are encouraged to bring along their own blankets and chairs to view the match comfortably.
Yonge North York BIA Soccer City
On June 20, you don’t want to miss this soccer celebration at Mel Lastman Square. From 1–10 p.m., this event will be offering a Germany vs. Ivory Coast watch party. Plus, the event will showcase a zone dedicated to celebrating community culture and soccer. Until 8 p.m., guests can participate in activities such as soccer ball keychain making, flag making and jersey decoration.
If you’re visiting with the entire family, there are kid-friendly things to do like free inflatable bouncers, face paintings and more. There’s no soccer playing here, but you can still Bend It Like Beckham with a screening of the iconic film.
Humber Match Day Hub
From July 1 to July 19, the Humber Match Day Hub will serve as a soccer viewing destination for the city of Toronto, where 20 games will be shown during the FIFA World Cup. Outside on the grounds of Humber’s Lakeshore Campus, there’ll be live music and DJ sets, plus film screenings of soccer-themed movies. Reserve a free ticket here.
Welcome World at the Hockey Hall of Fame
The legendary Hockey Hall of Fame will be hosting Welcome World, a free outdoor event that blends a little bit of soccer and hockey together to celebrate sports. The event will be giving out a complimentary Tim Hortons coffee to guests, with a Hockey Hall of Fame–branded donut — because nothing gets more Canadian than that. Keep your eye out for photo ops with the Hockey Hall of Fame mascot, who will be hanging around snapping a few shots with fans.
The Levi’s FC Watch Party at Ace Hotel
During select games, you can head over to the Ace Hotel for the Levi’s watch party. Be among fans (and steps from the Toronto Stadium) as you cheer on your favourite team; they’ll be streaming all games on June 17, 19 and 26. There will also be complimentary food and drinks, DJ sets by Tdesu and Maadcasso and giveaway prizes. Make sure to grab your spot here, as spots are limited.
Play on Bloor West
This summer sports festival is perfect for all soccer fans. On June 13 from 11–5 p.m., head over to the Green P Parking Lot ‘091’ at Bloor Street West and Willard Avenue to join in on all the fun. You can test out your soccer skills with challenges, check out the vendor market with local businesses and makers, or try out soccer-inspired pilates and yoga sessions with Oxygen Yoga.
ICFF Lavazza IncluCity Festival
From June 25 to July 19, the Distillery District will be joining in on the FIFA World Cup fun as it brings in a new soccer film series. Seven screenings will take place during the FIFA World Cup season, with soccer films that everyone knows and loves such as La Casaca de Dios (“The Jersey of God”) and Bend It Like Beckham.
