Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie and the gang are already all over Toronto filming season two of Heated Rivalry, which is set to premiere mid-2027. But if you’re a fan who can’t even wait until next year to get more of the iconic series, there’s another way to satisfy your obsession — for now. A Toronto music venue is transforming into a full blown Heated Rivalry dance party next week, and it will be your chance to relive all the iconic soundtrack moments from the first season among fans.
Since the show premiered in 2025, Toronto has basically become a 24/7 Heated Rivalry fan zone. Trivia nights, book clubs, drag brunches and other themed parties are constantly popping up, and the dance parties have been one of the most popular. Part of the appeal is the use of “fan edits” during the event; these videos created by talented fans cut scenes from the show into mini trailers set to popular songs and have almost developed their own fanbases (an edit to Meg Thee Stallion’s “Big Ole Freak” regularly generates screams so big you’d think Hudson Williams himself has stepped on stage).
Next week’s event, hosted by UP Dance Party Co. at Sneaky Dee’s, promises more of the same fun. The organizers aren’t new to the Heated Rivalry dance party game; they were one of the first to do it in Toronto when the series first exploded. Previous events have been filled with attendees in Boston Raiders shirts and fan-made Shane Hollander T-shirts. And the stage at the venue lends itself well to impromptu performances by enthusiastic fans in Montreal Metros jerseys.

This month, the event also promises $6 drinks before 11:30 p.m. While early bird tickets for $5 have sold out, both tiers of general admission ($15 and $20) are still available. The dance party takes place on Saturday, Oct. 17.
If you miss this one, don’t worry: there’s another one planned for Nov. 27!
