Toronto’s next big immersive exhibit will transform paintings into living worlds

18 February 20263 Mins Read

Another immersive experience is coming to Toronto, and this time, it’s bringing a vibrant and dreamlike world to life. Claude Monet: The Immersive Experience will feature over 300 of Monet’s creations, transforming them into interactive works of art.

It’ll make its Canadian debut on Feb. 26, 2026, at YZD, taking over more than 20,000 square feet of space. The exhibition will be an immersive experience, where guests will be captivated by enchanting light and sound projections. Expect a captivating virtual reality journey through an interactive discovery space.

Some of the highlights include a life-sized replica of Monet’s painting studio, a walk-through installation inspired by the Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies series and hands-on pieces like a “Sketch and Post” area.

“Monet was a visionary of Impressionism, whose influence continues to shape and define modern art,” says Annie-Lou St-Amant, regional manager of Fever Originals Canada.

“Some of his most captivating paintings are brought to life through stunning 4K digital mapping, transforming them into living, interactive works of art. It allows audiences to step inside his world and experience his vision in an entirely new way.”

According to the team, the experience will also debut two innovative technology rooms. Fog & Seasons, which explores how light and atmosphere transform perception, and Shadows of Light, an interactive space that brings impressionist colour theory to life through dynamic and multi-coloured shadows.

“This marks the first opportunity for Toronto audiences to experience Claude Monet: The Immersive Experience,” says Hamza El Azhar, CEO of Exhibition Hub. “We pride ourselves on creating exceptional experiences, and by combining innovative technology with powerful storytelling, we’re confident audiences will be captivated.”

Tickets start at $32.90 for adults and $24.90 for children. Claude Monet: The Immersive Experience will be open for a limited time, so get your tickets ASAP.

When: Starting Feb. 26, 2026
Time: Timed entries
Where: YZD — 30 Hanover Rd.
Cost: $32.90 for adults, and $24.90 for children
