U.S. Hotel RevPAR Rises 6.3% for Week Ending July 25 :: Hospitality Trends

  On Sunday, July 19, the night of the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, New York City reported a 142.2% increase in ADR and a 179.6% gain in RevPAR.

U.S. hotel occupancy was 72.5% for the week of July 19-25, up 1.3% from the comparable week in 2025. Average daily rate increased 4.9% to US$173.47, while revenue per available room rose 6.3% to US$125.72.

Among the Top 25 Markets, New York City recorded the largest increases in average daily rate and revenue per available room. ADR rose 28.1% to US$375.12, and RevPAR increased 35.0% to US$348.62.

On Sunday, July 19, the night of the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, New York City reported a 142.2% increase in ADR and a 179.6% gain in RevPAR.

Philadelphia reported the largest occupancy increase, with occupancy rising 9.0% to 77.1%.

Las Vegas recorded the steepest declines across the three key performance metrics. Occupancy fell 15.9% to 65.7%, ADR declined 5.4% to US$176.38, and RevPAR decreased 20.4% to US$115.88. The performance drop was mainly due to comparisons with last year’s Beyoncé and Backstreet Boys concerts.
