UNICO 18˚77˚ Montego Bay is scheduled to open March 1, 2027, on the Montego Bay coastline. The adults-only, all-inclusive property is the UNICO Hotel Collection’s first expansion beyond Mexico and will become the collection’s third resort.

The resort will have 451 guest rooms and suites, with nearly all offering ocean views and private outdoor spa tubs. It will include nine restaurants and bars, four pools and the largest Esencia Wellness Spa in the collection’s portfolio. Indoor and outdoor venues for meetings, weddings and special events will include a grand ballroom, breakout rooms and prefunction space. The property is intended for couples, solo travelers, celebrations and group gatherings.

Local Host service will provide assistance before and throughout visits, including arranging dinner reservations, spa treatments, golf outings and off-property excursions. Guests will have access to Montego Bay golf courses, outdoor attractions and nearby cultural attractions.

The resort’s design draws on Jamaica’s artistic traditions, culinary heritage, natural environment and culture. It will incorporate locally commissioned artwork, Jamaican flavors, coffee experiences, live music and cultural programming. Jamaica’s natural setting includes mountains, waterfalls, rivers and the Caribbean coastline.

Restaurants and bars will offer globally inspired cuisine alongside Jamaican flavors and ingredients, including locally inspired ingredients and regional specialties. Esencia Wellness will offer hydrotherapy, movement classes, beauty services and treatments inspired by the surrounding region. Wellness programming will draw on Jamaica’s outdoor lifestyle and sporting legacy, with activities focused on well-being, movement and connections with nature.

A rotating calendar will include live music, local spirits tastings, artisanal workshops, chef-led culinary experiences, outdoor wellness experiences and cultural programming. Dining, wellness and cultural discovery are central to the resort’s offerings, alongside destination-inspired wellness programming.

UNICO 18˚77˚ Montego Bay will join UNICO 20°87° Riviera Maya and UNICO 20°105° Riviera Nayarit. Each property reflects the culture and character of its destination, and the three properties share locally inspired experiences and personalized service.
