The hotel will be located on the University of Virginia’s Grounds, near the Ivy Corridor gateway and within walking distance of the university’s Lawn, School of Data Science, Karsh Institute of Democracy, John Paul Jones Arena, Palmer Park, and Scott Stadium. The property is designed to accommodate a range of guests, including leisure travelers, conference attendees, university visitors, alumni, and local residents.
Dining options at Virginia Guesthouse will include Poplar, a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a menu focused on regional cuisine and seasonal ingredients. The Counter Café will offer coffee, pastries, and snacks, while The Perch rooftop bar will serve cocktails, local beers, and light fare with views of the university and the surrounding area.
The meeting and event facilities at the hotel will encompass more than 25,000 square feet, including a grand ballroom with capacity for nearly 1,000 guests and additional spaces for smaller meetings and gatherings. The property will be IACC-certified and equipped with audiovisual technology, onsite catering, and an attached public parking garage.
