IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

The upheavals that occur in your life over the coming year will benefit you in ways you cannot as yet imagine, so be positive in your outlook and find ways to work with challenges rather than try to avoid them. Don’t fear the future, own it!

Don’t be too eager to listen to what the so-called “experts” have to tell you today because it is probably wrong. Trust your own intuition and don’t be afraid to be the odd person out - you may in fact be the only one who is right!

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

If you feel the urge to go somewhere different today then do so and don’t feel guilty about it, even if some people say you are neglecting your obligations. Maybe they are right, but on this occasion your own needs must be taken care of first.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

As your ruling planet Mercury links nicely with Saturn today your mind will be sharp and you won’t be taken in by promises you know are unlikely to be kept. On the other hand, don’t be tempted to make those kind of promises yourself.

As one of the zodiac’s cardinal signs you don’t take kindly to others telling you what to do, but that does not mean you should close your eyes and refuse to listen. A friend’s advice could in fact save you from making a serious error.

If you want to move up in the world you must act quickly and decisively. An offer that arrives out of the blue may be so good that if you take too much time making up your mind about it a rival could steal in ahead of you.

Today’s Mercury-Saturn link will bring your aspirations down to earth a bit. Most likely you will realize that merely wishing for a certain outcome won’t guarantee that it occurs - you’ve got to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty.

Mars in the career area of your chart makes you determined to show what you can do, but with Neptune, planet of illusion, also strong at the moment you must make sure your goals are realistic. Aim high but keep your feet on the ground.

Usually you don’t let criticism get to you but if someone says something negative about you today it may sting a bit. Most likely that’s because you know, deep down, there is an element of truth to it. You need to be honest about your limits.

Fight for your rights by all means but don’t forget that other people have rights as well and they may not always align with your own. Your task today is to find ways to satisfy both your own needs and the needs of family and friends.

You may be somewhat touchy as the new week begins and today’s Mars-Neptune link could see you blaming other people for mistakes that are most likely your own. You don’t have to be perfect, so don’t be afraid to admit that you got something wrong.

If you are the sort of Aquarius who finds it hard to say sorry you could find that people don’t want to work with you today. Obviously, they are carrying a grievance of some sort and it’s essential that you find out what it is.

It can only be a matter of time before you start making serious progress with a creative project of some kind, so be patient and don’t worry if events move at a snail’s pace today. It’s essential that you maintain a winning mentality.
