IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You will encounter a number of unusual ideas over the coming year, the kind of ideas you might normally dismiss out of hand, but for some reason they will attract you and get you thinking along more progressive, and maybe profitable, lines.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Something of value will come your way today or over the weekend, but with both Saturn and Neptune moving retrograde at the moment you may not see its benefits until later in the year. That’s okay. It gives you something to look forward to.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You may be decisive by nature but you can get confused when you have too many options. That could be a problem today, especially on the work front where several people will be trying to influence you. Shut their voices out of your mind.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Daydreams can be fun but while Saturn is going through its retrograde phase they could also be dangerous if they tempt you to do something risky. Remind yourself often that just because you feel invincible does not mean you really are.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You know what your limits are but will be inclined to ignore them over the next 24 hours. That could work in your favour if the gods are kind, but it could also cause problems if events work against you. You don’t HAVE to tempt fate.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Forces over which you have no control are pushing you in a new direction, but whether it is a good direction or a bad direction remains to be seen. Don’t worry about it though because ultimately all roads lead to the same destination.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

If you discover something interesting about a colleague today, something that could be embarrassing to them, keep it to yourself. There is no reason why anyone else needs to know - and it’s not as if you don’t have a few secrets of your own!

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You will need a calm head and a cool heart to deal with a partnership issue today. If you let your emotions get the better of you the situation is likely to escalate from one of mild irritation to major annoyance. It’s really not worth the bother.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You know what needs to be done but for some reason are reluctant to get on with it. Most likely you are fearful that someone whose approval you seek may not be happy with your efforts. They are more likely to be critical if you don’t do anything!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

There is a reason for everything that happens in life and if you keep that fact in mind today you will be less likely to get depressed by current events. Do your own thing, in your own way, in your own environment, and be happy with that.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

The way you look at the world today may be radically different to the way you looked at it yesterday but has your outlook really changed or is it an illusion? Saturn’s retrograde phase means it may be the latter, so don’t take anything too seriously.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may not be in the mood to take care of practical matters today but you really must make the effort. If you leave small things undone now they will become big things over the weekend, eating into your precious leisure time.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

It is inevitable that you will tread on someone’s toes today, but so long as you smile and say “sorry” quickly they won’t hold it against you. They can see you have a lot to do and that minor mishaps may be impossible to avoid. They’re human too.
