Your ability to sense what people really think and feel will be heightened this year and you must use it to further your interests. While your rivals are still trying to figure out what their next move should be you will be several steps ahead of them.
ARIES (March 21 – April 20):
Self-belief is not something you generally lack but too much of it could cause problems today. While mind planet Mercury is going through its retrograde phase confidence alone won’t be enough – real success will require a lot of planning too.
TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):
You have never been the extravagant sort but there are signs that you could be loosening up a bit when it comes to spending money. There’s nothing wrong with that as such but don’t get carried away and splash out on things you cannot afford.
GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):
Friendships will be a lot of fun today and one particular friend could lead you astray in the nicest possible way. If romance raises its head you are advised to keep it light and easy to begin with, because it may be nothing more than a fling.
CANCER (June 22 – July 23):
Finish what you start today before moving on to something new. Even if a task is 95 per cent complete you must stick with it and go all the way, otherwise that remaining five percent could cause you lots of trouble later on.
LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):
You may like to think you are indestructible but deep down you know that isn’t true, so listen to your inner voice today and if it tells you to back off a bit do so immediately. You don’t have to be on the attack all the time!
VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):
A situation you are not happy with can and must be changed over the next 24 hours. Even if it is a matter that involves other people it will be your responsibility to sort it out. Speak up and let everyone know what you expect of them.
LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):
Something will occur between now and the weekend that turns your world upside-down. Considering how topsy-turvy things have been in recent weeks you probably won’t mind too much. Who knows, you may even finish the right way up again!
SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):
You may be full of optimism and vitality but not everyone shares your abundance mindset. Do what you can to persuade them but don’t push too hard or you could provoke a backlash. Ultimately, if they want to be gloomy that’s up to them.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):
A hobby or pastime will bring a lot of joy over the next few days and it may end up becoming as important to you as your career. At times like these, when the world is changing fast, it’s good to have another string to your bow.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):
If someone you work or do business with harps on about how much you can trust them you will, of course, be suspicious. That’s good. While mind planet Mercury is moving retrograde you cannot fully trust anyone. Question everything and commit to nothing.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):
There is no point trying to force through changes on the work front if colleagues are reluctant to go along with your ideas. Even if it turns out later on that you were right and they were wrong bad feelings will linger and sour future plans.
PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):
You may have energy to spare today but not everyone is as pumped up as you are, so make allowances for those who prefer to move at a slower pace. Don’t let them hold you back, but don’t drag them along with you either.
