IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You can get anything and everything you desire over the coming year but you will have to work for it. That will be no great hardship though as you enjoy being pushed to the limit. You’re tougher than the rest, and it shows.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

If you try to blame other people for what goes wrong this weekend you won’t do your reputation much good. If you make a mistake just hold up your hand and admit it. No one expects you to be perfect, so don’t expect it of yourself.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

This may not be the easiest of times to get out into the world and enjoy yourself but you must try. The more you allow Saturn’s influence to hold you back the more downbeat you will feel, so make an effort to smile and have fun this weekend.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Good things will happen over the next 48 hours if you expect them to happen. Your mind is a powerful tool and the more you focus on positive outcomes the more likely it is they will occur. Be bright, be brave and be the best at what you do.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Someone you think of as a rival, maybe even an enemy, will extend the hand of friendship this weekend and if you are smart you will grasp it. You don’t have to be on opposite sides all the time — in fact you may be natural allies.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Don’t let your suspicions about what a colleague has been up to turn you against working with them. Even if they bent a few rules along the way it was before your involvement with them, so the blame will fall squarely on them.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The sun’s link with Saturn this weekend could put a damper on your social plans, so don’t make promises to friends and family members that you may not be able to keep. In fact, resist making plans at all and take each moment as it comes.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

If a friend or work colleague seems determined to fan the flames of disagreement this weekend you must let them, and everyone else, know that you want no part of it. As a fair-minded Libra you detest “good guy” versus “bad guy” situations, and rightly so.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

The sun in your sign puts you in a winning mood but Saturn’s influence could be stronger over the next 48 hours, so back off a bit if you encounter stiff opposition. It doesn’t mean you have lost, it means you live to fight another day.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Your current run of luck could come to an end this weekend but it’s unlikely you will be surprised. You knew the good fortune you enjoyed in recent months would not last, and there will be other opportunities to thrive coming your way soon.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

If you try to multitask this weekend you could get in a muddle, so identify your No. 1 goal and stick with that until it is done, and only then move on to the next goal. Aim to do one thing perfectly rather than leave several things half done.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You don’t have to fear the worst and you don’t have to let other people’s negativity get you down. If friends and colleagues talk up failure rather than success this weekend you must shut your ears to their words and push ahead regardless.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Feelings will run high this weekend, most likely over a financial dispute of some kind. You may be tempted to walk away and take a loss to avoid any hassle but that will bring further problems later on. Let others see that you have feelings too.
