You must be clear about your goals for the coming year but you must also leave yourself plenty of room to reach those goals in various ways. There is more than one road you can take to success, so don’t tie yourself down to one route alone.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Your mind will be razor sharp over the next few days, making it easy for you to cut through all the lies and half-truths and find out what is really going on. The more complicated a problem is the simpler the solution is likely to be.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You must be completely honest with the people you deal with both at work and in your social life. You may be inclined to hold back information you fear won’t look good but it could be much worse if they find out about it later on.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You won’t be short of ideas over the next few days but you will need to assess each and every one of them against the facts before taking further action. Saturn’s retrograde phase warns you cannot afford to rely purely on your instincts.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

The best way to deal with a financial problem is to face it head on. The longer you put off confronting it the more it will grow in significance inside your head and the more time you will waste worrying when you should be acting.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

The sun in your sign links with retrograde Saturn over the next few days, which basically means you must be extra careful when taking risks. You may think you have calculated all the angles but you could still have missed something big.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

You may not like what you are told by a friend or a family member this week but they know what they are talking about and it would be in your interests to listen and learn. You may be smart but you cannot possibly know everything.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Your ruling planet Venus moves into your sign later this week and almost immediately you will feel more relaxed both in your personal affairs and in your work. Between now and then aim to resolve any disputes you may have with other people.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If you find yourself at odds with someone in a position of authority this coming week you must not back down. They may have the power to make life difficult for you but you own the moral high ground and in the long term that counts for more.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

By all means think about your next big move but don’t set any balls rolling just yet. While Saturn is going through its retrograde phase a degree of caution is called for, especially for someone like you who enjoys taking risks.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Be careful what you say over the next few days because if you let slip information that could be of value to your rivals it’s guaranteed they will get to hear about it. Better to say nothing, even if others complain that you’re not much fun.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may believe you know what a friend or colleague is thinking but the planets warn you probably don’t as they have been careful to point you away from what is really going on in their head. You cannot afford to take them for granted.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

The week may start off slow but that’s okay － in fact it’s good. Those who race ahead at top speed will come up against obstacles that cannot be easily removed, and by the time they have been you will have caught up with them.
