It’s a short week in the city! Despite emerging from a long weekend, Toronto is still buzzing. To help you plan your upcoming schedule, we’ve rounded up the best things to do in Toronto this week.

And these events will not disappoint.

Splurge on an elegant and cozy Galentine’s High Tea experience at Old Mill Toronto.

Dress the part and celebrate with your girls!

When: Feb. 19, 2026
Time: 3 to 5 p.m.
Where: 21 Old Mill Rd.
Cost: $75+

Celebrating its third year, Illuminite will explore the theme of “Play” through several immersive light-based installations, according to the Downtown Yonge BIA. They will be spread across five unique locations in the Downtown Yonge area starting Feb. 13, 2026. Perfect timing for Family Day.

When: Feb. 13 to March 8, 2026
Where: Across Downtown Yonge BIA
Cost: Free

Head over to the Gardiner Museum on Wednesday nights after 4 p.m. for free admission. No advance registration is required.

When: Every Wednesday
Time: After 4 p.m.
Where: 111 Queen’s Park

According to the Ace Hotel, “Guests are invited to settle into a chic new alpine vibe at the Ace’s rooftop hotspot, complete with twinkling lights, blazing fireplaces, and warm blankets for snuggling indoors or out on the terrace.”

The third edition of KUUMBA 365 celebrates Black culture through sound with original works from top musicians. This year, in partnership with The Power Plant, “Harbourfront Centre invites musicians Dennis Passley, Larnell Lewis and Dwight Jones respond to this season’s exhibitions by Jeneen Frei Njootli and Christina Leslie, connecting music and contemporary art,” shares organizers.

KUUMBA 365 is Toronto’s largest and longest-running Black Futures Month Festival.

Now extended! Winter isn’t done with Toronto just yet.

The Bentway has announced that its figure-eight outdoor Skate Trail will remain open through Sunday, March 8. Have fun!

Time: Monday to Friday from 5 to 9 p.m., and Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from noon to 9 p.m.

Running from Feb. 16 to March 27, 2026, Lumière: The Art of Light will take over the Ontario Place Park, lighting up the night sky from 6 to 11 p.m.

Where: Ontario Place, Trillium Park — 955 Lake Shore Blvd. W.
Cost: Free

Talk about a blast from the past! Hotel X Toronto is bringing back its popular Retro Arcade, offering an all-access pass for players to fall in love with classic gaming all over again.

Relive timeless favourites and even some newbies, including Monster Kart, eight-player Foosball, Extreme Shot, motorcycle racing, Dance Dance Revolution, and so much more.

When: Until March 22, 2026
Time: Daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Where: Hotel X Toronto, 111 Princes’ Blvd.

Beginning Family Day, Winter Stations invites all to embrace and experience this year’s theme, Mirage. According to organizers, the competition “invited proposals that play with the boundary between what is seen and what is real in the age of AI, and explore public art as infrastructure that gathers people in shared reality.”

When: Feb. 16 until March 30, 2026

Where: Woodbine Beach, 1675 Lake Shore Blvd. E.
Cost: Free

Open daily from dawn until dusk, Roots Rink at 1 Hotel Toronto is the latest addition to the area, welcoming visitors and locals to enjoy a day on the rink. The long and narrow rink is completely free for public use, making it a great spot to enjoy some time on the ice.
