Halloween weekend has arrived with a bang! Whether you wanted to immerse yourself in all things scary for three days in a row or you’re the type who seeks out plans that have nothing to do with this haunted holiday, there’s something for everyone in the city. From candy crawl and haunted walk to a massive art fair, here are the best things to do this weekend in Toronto.
Ride to the Other Side
Toronto’s 505 Dundas streetcar is getting a Halloween makeover and is transforming into a rolling music venue for a one-night-only party featuring Canadian DJs Felix Cartal and Rêve. Enjoy themed cocktails, live music and a bar crawl aboard the streetcar!
Rocky Horror Picture Show: Halloween Extravaganza
Hot Docs knows what’s up: it’s not Halloween without a screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show! Toronto’s own shadow cast, Excited Mental State, will be on stage performing their own satirical, comedic version of the film!
Haunted Walk: Under the Tower
You may have visited the CN Tower, but not like this. On Saturday and Sunday, this haunted experience will allow you to explore the iconic landmark two floors beneath the ground.
Art Toronto 2026
This weekend, Toronto is transforming into a full-blown art fair! Art Toronto hosts over 100 national and international galleries, installations and projects, as well as an opening night party on Thursday.
Sleeping with Sirens at History
American rock band Sleeping with Sirens is bringing their An Ending In Itself Tour to Toronto! They’ll be taking the stage on Sunday with support from Rain City Drive and Shyeye as openers.
Halloween on Church

Canada’s largest Halloween party is turning Church Street into a massive, two-day celebration! Haunted booths line the street, drag shows abound and costumes of all kinds (terrifying or artistic) are encouraged.
Romeo and Juliet at the National Ballet
Romance (and tragedy) is alive at the National Ballet of Canada! Premiering on Halloween and running until Nov. 8, Shakespeare’s Verona comes to life through a stunning and dramatic performance set to Sergei Prokofiev’s celebrated score.
Halloween Spooktacular
Sankofa Square is getting an eerie makeover! Halloween Spooktacular runs from 12–5 p.m. on the day of Halloween and it’s fun for the whole family. Enjoy special appearances from the Toronto Ghostbusters, Bluey and Bingo — costumes are encouraged!
Belly of the Beast
Hotel Victoria is getting totally haunted: Belly of the Beast is an immersive Halloween art experience on Saturday that features Afro-Speculative installations, mutant plant life, DJs, drinks and strange discoveries.
Pumpkin Parades

The Halloween fun continues after Halloween night! Pumpkin Parades is how the city of Toronto brings one more night of seasonal magic to the neighbourhood. Bring your best pumpkin carving creations to a participating Toronto park — and then responsibly dispose of them after the event!
Back to Pompeii
You don’t need to travel to Italy to explore the ruins of Pompeii, thanks to a new exhibit launching on Friday in Toronto! Back to Pompeii allows you to step into the shoes of a Pompeii resident for a day before the sky turns to ash around you.
Welcome to the Bronze (a Buffy dance party)
Every season is Buffy the Vampire Slayer season, but none more so than Halloween! And this Friday, you have an opportunity to relive that bloodsucking nostalgia with Drusilla herself — Juliet Landau — at a themed dance party!
Zombie Wrestling
There are some truly inventive ways to celebrate Halloween in the city: including Zombie Wrestling! Undead wrestlers will take over The Great Hall on Thursday and Friday, and you can expect all kinds of haunting chaos.
Murder at Comedy Bar
At this unique Halloween-inspired show on Friday and Saturday, a performer is secretly the murderer, and every joke could be a clue. Follow the evidence and cast your vote at this combined stand-up comedy and murder mystery show.
Trick or Treat: Halloween Chocolate Workshop
Forget the candy aisle — make your own Halloween haul at Chockala’s Trick or Treat workshop on Friday. At Forget Me Not Café, you’ll temper Belgian chocolate, paint spooky moulds and load up your bars with candy and creepy toppings.
