Love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is just a few days away, and if you’re celebrating the romantic day, there’s lots to do in Toronto. Spending it with your boo? With some friends? Or just a self-care day? Whatever you decide to do, we’re sure it’ll be a blast. We’ve gathered 10 of the best things to do in Toronto for Valentine’s Day, and let’s just say, we want to try them all!

Take part in this cute cookie-decorating workshop at the Kimpton Saint George Hotel. Attendees will learn easy piping and decorating techniques to create cute Valentine’s-themed treats.

When: Feb. 11, 2026
Time: 6 to 8 p.m.
Where: Kimpton Saint George Hotel — 280 Bloor St. W.
Cost: $5 admission donation, with all proceeds benefiting Red Door Family Shelter. Kimpton Saint George. Sign up online.

In need of a wild date night this Valentine’s Day? Enjoy a delicious and informative evening of food and fun. Discover “the unique ways animals demonstrate love for their mates, young, and family groups,” shares the Toronto Zoo.

“Includes Hors-d’oeuvres, plated dinner, and dessert, outreach animal visitors, a special tour of the Wildlife Health and Science Centre, the Reproductive Science Laboratories, after-hours viewing of the Greenhouse, and more!”

Hit up The Well for a free screening of Love & Basketball. This cult-favourite romantic drama will be shown in the Wellington Event Venue.

Grab some popcorn and enjoy a few sweet treats! The first 30 guests will receive a free mochi donut from Isabella’s.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day and Family Day, the four-day event will feature a little bit of everything for everyone. We’re talking live music and entertainment, workshops and experience, along with Family Day specials.

When: Feb. 13 to 16, 2026
Time: Noon to 10 p.m.
Where: Stackt market — 28 Bathurst St.
Cost: Free

Make your way to The Well this Valentine’s Day for an evening of free skating. Romance will be in the air as sounds of R&B set the mood.

Date night or girls’ night out, enjoy a free night out on the ice.

Where: Upper Ground at The Well — 444 Front St. W.
Cost: Free

Enjoy fantastic fire and ice performances on the rink and even skate for a while. Then you can head indoors to create a personalized card for your loved one.

“Guests are encouraged to dress in their best fire-and-ice–inspired looks, with prizes for the most creative duos,” shares organizers.

Admission is free, and advance booking is required.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day by watching the Canadian holiday horror cult classic, My Bloody Valentine. For you film buffs, you’ll love to know that it’s the movie’s 45th anniversary, so you’ll get to catch the movie in a 4K scan of the uncut original camera negative.

Now here’s a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day! Join Kos Restaurant for a fun and romantic Sip & Paint experience. Sip on delicious drinks and paint the night away.

Where: Kos Restaurant — 61 Bellevue Ave.

“Ahhh” the day away with yoga. A Valentine’s Day-themed yoga session is going down at the Downward Dog Yoga Centre.

It’ll be a relaxing and rejuvenating candlelight yoga session. It’s welcome to all levels!
