Calgary is doing that very classic April thing where it cannot fully commit to spring just yet. There is still quite a bit of snow around, but the good news is that the city is not slowing down.

There is still plenty happening in Calgary this weekend, and we’ve rounded up some of the best events so you can head out and make the most of it.

This is not your typical night out. Murder at the Park turns a lively barn dance into a full-on mystery. Expect live music, drama, and a storyline packed with secrets.

When: Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, 2026

Country fans are in for a good one this weekend. Lee Brice is bringing his Sunriser Tour to the city with a night full of feel-good country hits.

Calgary Beerfest is just two weeks away!

Hear the seasons come to life with Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, performed by violinist Timothy Chooi with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.

If you need something to boost your mood instantly, this is it. The Spring Babies Festival is back with all the baby animals you could want. Think goats, lambs, chicks, and even piglets, plus things like pony rides, wagon rides, and plenty of photo ops.

You can spend a weekend at the farm without even leaving the city. Aggie Days is a free event held at the Nutrien Western Event Centre, where you can learn all about farm life and agriculture and participate in hands-on activities.

The Western Canadian Reptile Expo is bringing snakes, geckos, plants and a unique mix of vendors to the city this weekend. It’s one of those events that you can walk through at your own pace and end up spending way more time than you expected.

Cheer on the Calgary Roughnecks as they take on the Colorado Mammoth this weekend. A perfect outing for the whole family.

The Nifty Fifty Spring Thaw Car Show is back at Heritage Park for another year, and it’s basically Calgary’s way of saying cruising season has officially started.

You can expect over 400 vehicles ranging from vintage classics to custom builds. While you’re there, you can also visit the Gasoline Alley Museum or grab a bite to eat at the cafe.
