As the movie that officially brings the Mandoverse to theaters, it’s practically begging for a post-credit scene to reveal what comes next either on the big screen or back on Disney Plus in Ahsoka season 2.

Shawn Levy’s Star Wars: Starfighter, the next feature film in the Star Wars franchise, is set five years after The Rise of Skywalker, so the setting doesn’t lend itself to a direct post-credit tie-in to a New Republic era movie. Levy’s film is set to follow an ace pilot mentoring a younger Force-sensitive character as they’re chased through the galaxy by a new Dark-side-wielding foe. It pulls together a fantastic cast, including Ryan Gosling, Amy Adams, and Matt Smith, and is set to debut in May 2027.
