Hilton, in partnership with REVPAR INCORPORAÇÕES, MUV Empreendimentos, and Atlantica Hospitality International, has opened Motto by Hilton Recife Antigo in Recife Antigo, the historic center of Recife, Brazil. This property is the first Motto by Hilton hotel in Brazil and Hilton’s entry into the city of Recife.
The 132-room hotel features architecture and décor inspired by the landscapes and culture of Pernambuco state. The ground floor features rustic design and earth tones, while the rooftop evokes the sea. Guest corridors display Cordel literature-inspired illustrations, and artisanal carpets are used throughout the property.
Guest rooms are equipped with multi-functional furniture, including bunk beds and sofa beds, and feature forest-inspired wallpapers. The hotel offers 42 connecting rooms, with the option to link up to four rooms at once using Hilton’s Confirmed Connecting Room technology.
Dining options include a rooftop restaurant serving daily breakfast with sea or river views and a ground-floor coffee shop open to both guests and visitors to Recife Antigo. The hotel is located two blocks from Marco Zero, the historical downtown area, and is near cultural attractions, colonial architecture, and waterfront areas.
Motto by Hilton Recife Antigo is part of Hilton’s portfolio of more than 25 hotels in Brazil, with plans to add nearly 30 additional hotels in the country. Across the Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton operates nearly 300 hotels and resorts, with more than 160 properties in various stages of design and construction.
