There’s a vendor market hidden above this cozy Ossington coffee shop, Canada Reviews

28 October 20262 Mins Read

Local markets are just part of what makes Toronto so fun, and we’ve got another one to put on your radar. One of Ossington’s most charming coffee shops is hiding a secret upstairs. Forget Me Not Coffee may offer great matcha and fun treats on the main floor, but upstairs, there’s a full vendor market!

Aptly named Second Story Market, the market doesn’t run daily — you’ll find it on select dates, announced in advance on Forget Me Not’s Instagram page. The event has had a few different names and iterations before getting officially crowned the Second Story Market this fall.

Vendors are all local, ranging from handmade jewelry and original illustrations to vintage clothes and accessories. October’s market included Bonito Flakes, a copper wire and crystal jewelry brand, thrift and consignment pop-up Crispy Findz, illustration, zine and ceramic shop Grapejuice, ceramics shop Laimaan Ceramics, silver jewelry maker Made Unmatchable, traditional Korean Gubang Gongye artist Uptown K Craft and more.

Visitors can expect more of the same at the upcoming November market, happening next week from Nov. 7–8.

And of course, the best part of this market is that you can browse while sipping on a warm drink from right downstairs. The cafe offers a series of seasonal drinks, including a spiced pear matcha, goguma maple latte, classic pumpkin spice latte and lavender haze latte (which comes in a very Instagrammable soft blue shade).

The ambiance of the market upstairs matches the same cozy vibes downstairs; expect exposed brick walls, crafty decor and light spilling in from Ossington!

Second Story Market runs from 11–5 p.m., Nov. 7–8 at Forget Me Not Coffee (102 Ossington Ave. in Toronto.
