Millennials everywhere, prepare yourselves: Backstreet Boys are back! The iconic ’90s boyband will be making a larger than life comeback to Canada with a four-night residency in Toronto.
Our city will be the only one to be graced by the presence of the heartthrobs in North America; the tour, titled Into the Millennium – Homecoming: Live in Canada, will be the band’s only stadium show of 2027 in the continent.
The four-concert residency at Rogers Centre will take place in February 2027, and fans will experience the Millennium album, released in 1999 and featuring top hits like “I Want It That Way.” But if you’re a die-hard fan and have been waiting for a chance to hear some sleeper hits live, don’t worry: the organizers promise more rarely performed songs like “It’s Gotta Be You” and “The Perfect Fan” will be included in the show.
Band members Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson apparently credit Canada for Backstreet Boys’ early success, noting that it was here where they had their first major breakthrough in North America.
“Canada was one of the first places to embrace us, and the love and support we’ve received from our fans there has meant so much from the very beginning,” said Littrell. “Coming back feels incredibly special.”
The four shows will take place on Feb. 12, 13, 19 and 20. Rogers customers get exclusive presale access from Monday, Oct. 5 at 10 a.m. to Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 10 p.m. There will then be multiple other presale opportunities running from Tuesday, Oct. 6 until public sales begin on Oct. 9 at 10 a.m.
