Hilton has appointed Jeff Moore as executive vice president and chief technology officer, effective Oct. 26.
Moore will report to President and CEO Chris Nassetta, join the company’s Executive Committee and lead Hilton’s global technology organization.
Moore joins Hilton from Uber, where he was vice president of software engineering and led a global organization of 2,500 engineers supporting Uber Eats, Uber for Business, growth and marketing technology, Uber for Merchant, Uber Direct and Uber Courier, Uber Advertising and Applied AI.
Moore has more than 20 years of experience in technology, engineering, product and operations organizations. Before joining Uber, he held leadership positions at Amazon.com.
At Amazon, Moore was a founding leader within Fulfillment by Amazon. He later led engineering and product organizations supporting Amazon’s device portfolio, including Kindle, Fire TV, Fire Tablet and Echo/Alexa products.
Earlier in his career, Moore held software engineering and operations leadership roles at Anheuser-Busch. He holds three issued U.S. patents and serves on the board of Edmund Optics.
