Tate McRae just launched her first-ever perfume and it’s now coming to Canada

29 October 20263 Mins Read

Multi-platinum Canadian artist Tate McRae is tapping into the beauty industry with her own signature fragrance, TATE 01, and it’s coming to Canada

Earlier this month, the north of the border superstar teased her upcoming perfume with a dedicated video trailer. “My debut fragrance TATE 01 shot by the incredible @mario_sorrenti 🐐🤍 is hereeeeeee!!!!!” shared McRae via Instagram. Following its release in the U.S., it’s now making its way to Canada.

From the world stage to Sephora’s perfume display, the Calgary-born singer is launching her newest scent across the country on Oct. 30.

“In my beauty routine, fragrance is that final invisible layer that elevates my entire mood,” said Tate McRae via a press release. “With TATE 01, I set out to craft a scent that feels entirely second-skin: effortless, subtly edgy, and perfectly you. It melts in so gracefully that it never wears you; it just enhances who you already are.”

It was crafted in collaboration with world-class Givaudan master perfumers Adriana Medina and Antoine Maisondieu. The perfume starts with hints of sparkling bergamot and airy clary sage before unfolding into white florals. It settles with hints of warm amber, creamy tonka bean, sandalwood, and soft woods.

What makes this perfume different is its “sophisticated approach to second-skin fragrance.” According to the release, TATE 01 is anchored by ISO E Super; the scent interacts dynamically with individual skin chemistry to create an intimately personalized, velvet-woody aura that evolves with the wearer throughout the day.

“Bringing TATE 01 home to Canada with Sephora is so meaningful to me, and I can’t wait for fans back home to experience it,” shared McRae.

TATE 01 is available online at tatebytm.com in sizes ranging from 10ml to 100ml, as an exclusive retail release in select Sephora stores in Canada and online at Sephora.ca.
