Calgary is getting a two-day Lego show with hundreds of builds to explore

13 October 20263 Mins Read

Brick Roundup is returning to Calgary this weekend with hundreds of Lego builds, a vendor market and special guests from the Lego community. The two-day event will fill MacEwan Hall with creative builds of all shapes and sizes, letting you see what builders have been creating with Lego bricks.

Whether you’re a longtime collector or just looking for something to do this weekend, here’s everything you need to know before you go.

What to expect at Brick Roundup

What is Brick Roundup?

Brick Roundup is an annual Lego show organized by the Southern Alberta Lego Users Group (SALUG). According to organizers, the event was created to celebrate the creativity and community behind the popular hobby.

What can I see and do while I’m there?

At Brick Roundup, hundreds of builds will be on display, featuring all kinds of themes, characters, and settings. There will also be a vendor market with minifigures, Lego sets, and Lego-inspired items.

If you’d like to learn more about the hobby, check out Brick Talks, where SALUG members and special guests will share their knowledge and offer tips to help you improve your building skills.

Where is Brick Roundup taking place?

The event will take place at MacEwan Hall at the University of Calgary. You can get there by car or public transit.

If you’re driving, the closest parking options are the underground MacEwan Student Centre Parkade (accessible from Collegiate Boulevard) and Lots 10 and 11 along Collegiate Boulevard.

When is Brick Roundup?

Brick Roundup takes place on Saturday, Oct. 17 and Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Keep in mind that the last entry is one hour before closing, so plan to arrive early enough to check out the displays and catch any talk you’re interested in.

How much are tickets?

Youth admission for ages 5 to 14 is $10, and general admission for ages 15 and older is $14.99. If you’re going with family, a family pass costs $39.99 and includes four tickets.

You can pre-purchase tickets online or buy them at the door. Organizers also note that all minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Head down to MacEwan Hall this weekend to see what Calgary’s Lego community has been creating.

When: Saturday, Oct. 17 to Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026
Time: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
