Holiday Inn Raipur to Open Q1 2031 in India

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Entry Point Hotels & Resorts Private Limited to develop Holiday Inn Raipur in Sector 24 of Naya Raipur, also known as Nava Raipur Atal Nagar.

The hotel will have 156 rooms and suites, including 16 suites.

Naya Raipur is Chhattisgarh’s planned capital and is expanding through government, institutional, commercial and infrastructure activity. The hotel site is close to government complexes, public sector units, upcoming major hospitals and commercial activity. Mantralaya, Vidhan Sabha and Swami Vivekananda Airport are also near the property.

Raipur is the capital of Chhattisgarh. Naya Raipur is adding connectivity, civic infrastructure, education, IT and lifestyle-led developments. The market is also seeing activity across proposed data center and IT developments, established educational institutions, and upcoming tourism and entertainment assets.

Holiday Inn Raipur will include three dining venues: a 117-seat all-day dining restaurant, a 40-seat bar and a 40-seat lobby lounge. The hotel will have approximately 942 square meters of meeting and event space across four venues, including a 715-square-meter divisible ballroom.

Other planned facilities include a swimming pool, fitness center and parking. The facilities are indicative and subject to design development and IHG brand standards.

The hotel is intended to serve corporate, government, meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions, leisure and event-related travel demand. Its Open Lobby concept will provide space for guests to work, meet and relax.

IHG currently has 53 open hotels across seven brands in India: Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Vignette Collection, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort and Holiday Inn Express. The company also has a pipeline of 110 hotels due to open in the next three to five years.
