As the fall season rolls into Edmonton, there’s no better way to warm up on those chilly autumn days than with a warm bowl of ramen.
Edmonton is home to some great spots serving up this delicious Japanese delicacy. Complete with flavourful toppings like soy-marinated eggs, bok choy, chashu, and more, there are a ton of restaurants in the city that do the dish justice.
No matter what part of the city you find yourself in, we’ve compiled a list of spots to visit within Edmonton for those fans of everything ramen. Without further ado, let’s jump in.
From the team behind the successful pop-up Kasey Ramen, Menya Mori quickly became an Edmonton hot spot for these delicious bowls. This restaurant is dedicated to serving up balanced and elevated ramen, and instead of having a large menu, it focuses on six different bowls along with one rotating special.
When: Tuesday to Sunday
Time: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Tokiwa Ramen is a minimalist spot serving its ramen with soup stock made daily in-house. It begins with the broth, but the collection and assortment of classic ramen toppings such as pork charshu and bok choy just make this dish incredible.
Just be sure to show up early, as this restaurant fills up fast and is subject to closing sooner on days it sells out.

This house-made ramen spot in Edmonton caters to both seasoned ramen lovers and those who may be new to the cuisine. It boasts of serving “authentic handcrafted ramen,” and, according to its website, it uses locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
When: Wednesday to Monday
Time: Noon to 8 p.m. on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays; Noon to 9 p.m. on Thursdays; Noon to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays
Where: 2920 Calgary Trl. NW #109, Edmonton, Alta.
Midori Ramen is a Toronto-based Japanese ramen spot which opened in Edmonton in late 2024. The restaurant actually serves a wide range of ramen varieties, including ones with tori paitan, as well as Japanese curries and more.
When: Daily
Time: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Mondays to Saturdays; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays
Where: 10311 34th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
For being a spot in such a bustling part of the city, Hu’s Noodle Nook offers a serene space, complemented by excellent service and even better ramen. It’s also great for university students going back to school, as it’s located within walking distance of Grant MacEwan University’s Allard Hall.
It serves classic tonkotsu ramen as well as other flavours, including its top seller, Tan Tan ramen, flavoured with homemade peanut and spicy sesame.

According to its website, Jinya Ramen Bar is known for its slow-cooked approach to ramen, with broths simmered for 20 hours in-house. After a resounding success at many of its locations across North America, this Edmonton location opened in 2024 and has been busy ever since.
